As I do to the buzzes and pings on my phone,
They so easily interrupt my life,
And to think I once lived without this electronic bundle of info and news.
You have been sending us pings and buzzes
For all time, through your word, events, people and places.
Save us when this electric bundle overwhelms us,
Save us when it overloads us with too much information.
And help us to notice your buzzes and pings,
The kind of messages which lift us up,
Rather than tearing us down, or overloading us.
Keep sending us your life-affirming nudges,
And make us sensitive to them please.
