Lyrical Riffs Sometimes, stony, sometimes smooth,
At times uphill, at times potholed,
At times barely visible, at times floodlit,
Sometimes overgrown, sometimes beautiful,
Often long and winding,
With the light at the end coming and going.
Not so much a fast tracked motorway,
But a less travelled path heading towards the Light of day.
The going is not always easy, but it leads to treasure
More precious than anything else,
And the promise of a guide as we head for home.
Jeremiah 6 v 16: So now the LORD says, ‘Stop right where you are! Look for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls.’
