Lyrical Riffs When we were younger we may have dreamt
Impossible dreams of conquering worlds,
Climbing mountains of great achievement,
Saving the lost universe, and loving with hearts of fire.
And with the passing of days our dreams may fade,
Reality takes hold and squishes the life from us,
Putting our imagination in a box and throwing the key.
Save us Lord from letting go of too many dreams,
Even if they are now diminished in size,
Keep us holding onto hope,
Holding onto that which seems just a little impossible,
Keep us holding onto you.
