Lyrical Riffs At times we read of still waters and green pastures,
But struggle to know how to find them.
There are times we read of bearing fruit,
But struggle to sense we are doing that.
There are times we read of patience and kindness,
But struggle to have the strength for these things,
There are times when we hear the phrase ‘make a difference’,
But struggle to wonder what that might mean for us.
There are times we read of following,
But are not sure how to put one foot in front of the other.
You are our friend, our guide, our helper, our comfort,
Help us please to know what these things mean for us.
