Lyrical Riffs Lord, here I am, praying in my car,
in my little moveable tin can,
guide my wheels as you guide my footsteps,
let any diversions be your diversions,
and if my journey is not as short or as quick I plan,
help me live with that.
Save me from frustration and irritation,
help me to have patience,
and kindness towards other drivers.
Be in my driving and my reactions,
let safety be the watchword,
help me to avoid any animals,
and keep me from damaging myself and others.
You are a God who is always on the move,
so please help me as I am on the move.
