Lyrical Riffs Does God sometimes wake up
And wonder if it’s worth making
A new sunrise?
Does he wonder if anyone will take
The time to notice and appreciate
What he does, day after day?
Refresh our vision Lord, please,
Soften our hearts once more,
So that we notice the beauty and thrill
In the good things you keep making.
And when we struggle to keep on
Doing the same, regular acts of kindness,
Day in and day out,
Remind us that these things really matter.

God’s mercy and love never run out, created new every morning,
His faithfulness rising with the coming of each new dawn.
