Lyrical Riffs On the outside we look hunky dory,
Inside it might be a different story,
Might look stern when all the time,
Inside we’re okay, doing fine.
Might act like a lion because we can,
While inside we’re more like a lamb.
Might seem like we don’t get the blues,
While inside we might feel confused.
Might feel invisible and overlooked too,
But inside we’re wise and know what to do.
Outside we may look strange and wrong,
While inside we are quietly strong.
Outside we might look calm and cool,
While inside feeling like a fool.
So be aware that the outside skin,
May not be true to what’s within.
