There are super heroes who save the day –

Batman, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, Black Widow,

And then there are heroes like Nimrod.

So many aspired to be this great hunter-warrior,

Who went out to build cities and found an empire.

Such a powerful hero.

And yet… power can corrupt,

And an empire can become poisonous,

Destroying others and stealing land.

So there is another kind of hero,

One with sacrifice and compassion in mind,

Changing lives… not through force,

But with kindness, and a life lived with open hands.
