Wednesday Riff: Reminders

The heavens paint a picture of the glory of God
Hope-stained hands streak the endless canvass
The sun in its splendour, daubs another sunset
Celestial colours on the sprawling sky.

Seraphic brushstrokes smear the horizon
With hues and shades that beckon to us
Our eyes and minds drawn to another dimension
Reminders that we are not here alone.

The subtle shading from the great ‘I Am’
A divine text message from the great beyond
Signs of his presence when loneliness lurks
The hope of bright morning, after the fear of the dark.
The heavens paint a picture of the glory of God
Reminders that we are not here alone.

If you've appreciated this, why not...
