Unless you become like a teenager
It is quite difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Without possessing dreams,
Without going against the grain,
Without a taste for rebellion against the system,
And a craving for something better
There is little hope of ever transforming this world
And making it more like the next.
So don’t let your dreams be crushed
Don’t be conformed to the world around you
Rebel against the mediocre, the bland and the lukewarm
And don’t fear to set your hopes high.
Then, with the currency of justice, mercy and humility
You will walk with hope,
One small step at a time,
Into a brave new world.
And nothing will stop you.
If you've appreciated this, why not...
