Like badly worded emails,
There are spelling mistakes,
The grammar is all adrift,
And the Wi-Fi signal intermittent.
We veer off at random tangents,
Waffling terribly sometimes,
We get our wires crossed,
And the message becomes muddled.
But we are still living letters,
Blotchy and grease-spotted,
Flawed and open to misinterpretation,
Praying for God’s fingerprints to be apparent.
(2 Corinthians 2 vv 2-3, 2 Corinthians 4 v 7)
