Lyrical Riffs On any given day you might see
A couple walking side by side,
One in flip flops one in boots,
One overly warm,
The other not so much,
Different together,
Similarly unique.
One calm the other excitable,
One likes Marmite the other says ‘yuk!’,
Made to be together,
Two worlds hand in hand,
Designed to walk-banter-live-listen,
Two worlds amongst a universe
Of worlds,
Viewpoints-preferences-experiences,
Hurting and healed,
Lost and searching,
Alone with one another.
On any given day you might see
The wonder of a world
Teeming with different people
Who have so much in common.
