A short thought this week – one of the great filmic perseverance moments occurs in the Shawshank Redemption. Andy Dufresne writes a letter a week to the prison authorities asking for more books for the prison library. When boxloads arrive one day with a note begging him to stop sending letters, he says, ‘Only took two years! From now on I’ll write two letters a week!’ Keep going, hang in there. Don’t give up.
