Faith, hope and love,
How we need them,
Yet we so easily lose sight of them.
Faith, like a flickering candle,
Battered in each day’s breeze.
Hope, the compass that guides us on,
Gets buried in the baggage of our living.
Love, the fuel for compassion,
Often seems to run dry, the tank empty.
Faith, hope and love,
How we need these gifts ,
These mainstays of life,
Refresh us, restock us Lord please,
With these vital goods.
Resource us once more by your grace,
With your endless living hope for us,
Your revitalising belief in us,
And your great, great love for us.
If you've appreciated this, why not...
