Lyrical Riffs Give justice to our leaders, O God,
May it top their to-do list.
Help them judge and guide your people in the right way,
Let the poor always be treated fairly.
May the land yield peace and prosperity for all,
And may our lives be kind and fruitful,
Because fairness fills the land.
Help us to defend the poor,
To rescue the children of the needy,
And upend the plans of oppressors.
May your grace be as refreshing as the springtime rains –
As it works its way through our lives.
