Walk around with fear in our eyes,
How many of us smile with hurting hearts,
How many of us are held back by worry.
How many of us struggle for words,
Held back by a culture of loneliness,
How many of us aspire to lives
That are just beyond our reach.
How many of us fear to reach out to others
For the worry of what might occur.
How many of us have stories of others helping,
Of God reaching us in the hands of another,
Of grace surprising us when others notice,
Of Jesus in disguise as others lift us up.
