please restore to us the joy of knowing you,
the joy that can inspire our hearts and souls and minds,
the warmth of friendship with you,
the joy that lifted the people when they heard your word,
the joy that Jesus felt as he saw those who were weak
finding inspiration, hope, comfort and strength.
Restore to us the joy of salvation that can help
us through each moment, each encounter,
