and we praise you with all we have,
this jumble of our lives –
at times full of the good things,
at times more like a mess of untidy livings.
Some days we find it easy to worship you,
some days we find it harder.
But you invite us to come to you,
whatever the hour, whatever we feel,
whether we have just been smiling,
or arguing and sniping,
whether our plans have worked out,
or whether they lie in disarray.
Whether we now where we’re headed,
or if we have no idea.
You invite us to come to you,
to talk to you, to sit with you,
