Lyrical Riffs Jesus was at home with God anywhere.
In the turbulence of a storm,
in ordinary days of work and rest,
in a bustling, heaving crowd of 1000s,
alone in the quiet of the rising dawn.
In the dust and sweat of his carpenter’s shop,
in the desert of those wilderness days,
in the ongoing pressures and conflict,
on the mountaintops of wonder.
In so many meals made and shared,
in the laughter and smiles of friendship,
in the questions, snipes and banter,
in the silence… and the noise,
in the grief of losing his Bethany friend,
in the joy and surprise of resurrection.
Jesus was at home with God anywhere,
