Lyrical Riffs Help us Lord to know ourselves well enough to be ourselves,
save us from trying to be someone else,
someone unreal, someone that does not fit our skin.
Help us to put on the qualities of grace,
rather than the masks of copying others,
open our minds to the wonder of who we are,
the precious people we are in you,
and liberate us to place our feet in your steps,
and to follow you in such a way the world seeds
the unique person you made and designed.
1 Peter 5 v 6-7: So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you;
he’ll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.
