Lyrical Riffs Lord Jesus you say to us,
Be concerned for one thing…
you and your kingdom.
But so many things clamour for my attention,
so many things batter at the door of my peace,
and on the windows of my wellbeing.
Help me to bring these things to you today,
and to focus on your love for me and
your understanding of my problems.
Because I’m constantly distracted by my fears,
and tempted to let them govern my life,
please help me to give my attention to you,
and to trust you to take care
of everything else.
