Monday Rewrite They emerge from the wilderness,
One after 40 years the other after 40 days.
Both with freedom in their hands,
Fire in their bellies,
Hope in their hearts and minds.
One will confront the authorities, work miracles,
Inspire the people against the odds,
And lead them miraculously to freedom.
The other will confront the authorities, work miracles,
Inspire the people against the odds,
And lead them miraculously to freedom.
But their calling is not the same.
One will part the sea,
The other will walk on it.
One will provide bread from heaven,
The other is the bread of life.
One will live and lead.
The other will die and serve.
And rise again.
