Monday Rewrite We so often feel we must come to You
With the right words, the right feelings,
The right account of ourselves from the last week.
To be so spiritual, so right, so worthy, so sorted.
Thank you Lord that your writings are full
Of those who are empty.
Unsorted, muddled, questioning, doubtful.
So many finding themselves empty, wondering,
Needing something more, needing you.
Mary, Esther, Joseph, Peter,
And a whole book-full of others.
