Father forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing.
Thank you so much Jesus, for those words of forgiveness.
Thank you for the releasing power of your sacrifice on that cross.

Lord please help us with our relationships,
Help us when it’s difficult, when things go wrong.

Please help us to have the courage and the gentleness
To relate to one another about past mistakes
And those things that have hurt us.

A sprinkling of compassion,
A cupful of kindness,
A pinch of diligence,
A handful of hope.
A spoon of perseverance,
As much patience as required,
A smattering of integrity,
A bucket of courage.
Mix sensitively
With the Spirit of God,

63. Bread from Heaven
As they were crossing the wilderness to the
Promised Land the people cried out to Moses for food.
Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘I am going to rain
bread from heaven for you, and each day the people
shall go out and gather enough for that day.
In that way I will test them, whether they will
follow my instruction or not…’
We call out to you now, our precious Lord,
For the things we need,
Today, tomorrow, and in the week ahead.
God’s mercies are new every morning,
great is his faithfulness…
We look to you, Lord, for help and provision.
Man shall not live by bread alone…
You fed the people in the desert,
Our Lord, not only with your bread,
But with your very presence.
Give us today our daily bread…
We need food and drink, Lord,
And we need you too.
Bread and wine and Jesus.
I am the bread of life,
come to me all you are hungry and thirsty…
Be with us this week, our precious Lord,
As we travel through the good times and bad.
The days and the nights. Please remind us
To continue to look to you for help,
