Lyrical Riffs When we find ourselves in the shadows of life,
in the places mottled with sadness,
the presence of our God is right there with us,
his patience never diminished by the
negative influences of this life.
We choose you Lord as our refuge,
we have decided that you are our home,
don’t disappoint us, please.
Though the night brings fears,
and the days bad news,
lift our spirits, put energy in our being,
save us from trying to carry the world
on our shoulders,
and may your angels catch us
when we are in danger of falling.
