Lord, for ourselves, for those we care for,
And for those who lead us at all levels,
Please would you be our shepherd today.
Guiding us, providing what we need,
For the situations we all face.
When the going is rough may there be strength,
When the valleys are dark may there be light,
When our resources are low may there be replenishment,
When weariness takes hold may we find streams
Of refreshment, and calm inspiration.
When we are afraid may we sense you beside us.
Guide us we pray, lead us and help us,
And may we follow in your footprints today.
