Dave Hop And so we battle with versions of ourselves, the Christian and the human, the lost and found soul, the genuine bits and the imposter parts, the product of our past and the hopes for the future, the hero and the villain, the courageous and the cowardly, encouraging and sniping, the truth that sets us free, and the lies that hold us back. The longings for ease and success, the desires to throw off the worldly deceits and deceptions. The sinner and the saint. And so we battle with ourselves, and find God to be right here with us in the wrestling.
