Unlike us
Our anger, our love, just pale corrupted imitations
His anger, his love, creative, full of justice, hope and mercy
His anger, his love, not selfish, nor arrogant
Not self-serving or destructive
Instead leading to life, to peace, to harmony
To healing, help and change
His judgment calling in to question all that is wrong
His judgment deciding in favour of the weak, the broken
The poor, the grieving, the limping, the lost
His anger snorts in the face of hypocrisy
Turns over the tables of greed and oppression
Breaks open the cages of fear and terror
His love opens a door no one can close
A door to life.
